Though many of us do contribute in our own ways in ensuring we help someone get educated, but we need people like Mehra, who can recreate the entire institution & provide the infra as well. Organizations today are actively attaching itself to some social cause as well....... The effort of Mehra is indeed remarkable, there is need for more such effort, for children & adults who are deprived of the basic for education facility.

I sure would be keen to see if the same is sustained across a district or a state.... I am not sure if you have heard or seen the efforts of a NGO called www.akshayapatra.org, which is today despite efforts of NRIs and Corporates finding it so difficult to sustain the mid-day meal program across India. As I last counted they were inching towards the million children a day - with a payable deficit of 50 lakhs.....but the children are not affected a bit! Kudos to Mehra and team.
